2nd Annual Food Drive

Virginia State University Alumni Association- Greater Triangle Chapter (NC) held their 2nd Annual Food Drive on Jan. 12, 2020. The Food Drive collected food items for the Loaves & Fishes Ministries which is a food pantry located in Warrenton, NC. On Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 the chapter delivered 219 lbs of food which was an increase of 80 lbs more food that was donated last year. All of the donated food will assist in the aiding food insecure people who live in Warrenton community. The Loaves and Fishes Warehouse Manager, Evelyn said of the donations, “We appreciate all that you all do and I know that our clients do to.”
