On May 12, 2023, GTAC (NC) was recognized as one of the eighteen VSUAA chapters that experienced membership growth during the 2022-2023 year at the 2023 VSUAA Awards Program. The chapter was presented with a certificate for this accomplishment. GTAC (NC)had the 3rd largest growth in actual members as well as the 3rd best percentage in growth amongst all chapters.
