On behalf of  VSUAA-GTAC (NC), Chapter Vice- President hosted Logan Harper and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie and Nicole Harper to a full day of homecoming, which included viewing the homecoming parade, taking a tour of campus, perusing vendor area, attending the meet and greet with members of VSUAA-GTAC (NC) at the fountain, attending the game, attending the VSUABA Tailgate. During the day, Logan and his family met and talked to numerous alumni, Franklin Johnson (VSUAA President) and President Makola Abdullah, Ph.D. Logan is a senior at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, where he is a running back on the winning football team. Logan and his parents possess an enthusiastic desire for Logan to attend Virginia State University to major in Sports Management, and to play football for the Trojans.

The following are words of expressions from Mrs. Nicole Harper- My family and I were guests of Dennis Snead to this awesome Homecoming event in the hopes of my son becoming a student/athlete of VSU. We were incredibly impressed with the kind and inspiring words from President Makola Abdullah as he invited my son to walk with him in the Homecoming Parade, the amazing hospitality we were shown by the VSU Alumni, and the “hello’s” we received by almost everyone we walked passed on campus!

Thank you again for your kindness and we hope to become a part of VSU.
