On October 14, 2022, GTAC (NC) President Dennis Snead traveled to Charles City, VA to support the Trojan Explosion Band in its recruitment efforts as the band performed for Charles City High School’s Homecoming Game. VSU Band Director Taylor Whitehead and Charles City High School Principal Dr. Anita Harper were former band students of Dennis Snead.
